About Moon Petal:

Growing up in a family of farmers, my early years were spent immersed in nature, fostering a deep sense of peace and inter-connection. However, as I grew older, life’s challenges distanced me from this intuitive bond with the natural world and my inner Self.

Drawn to understanding the human mind, I pursued an Honours degree in Psychology with distinction, but soon realised that the spiritual essence I was seeking, of the psyche, was missing from my studies. This realisation led me to explore new paths of personal growth, including teaching English in South Korea and diving into creative outlets like photography and painting. These experiences helped me reconnect with both the natural world and my inner landscape, offering fresh perspectives on my journey.

AWAKENING

In 2014 I discovered Kundalini Yoga and began my journey of re-membering my Self.

TRAINING

Completed my level 1 Kundalini Yoga teacher training under Itta Roussos (Ravi) in 2017. I am currently studying to become a Yoga Therapist with Sat Sangat.

TEACHING

Teaching Kundalini Yoga to children and adults since 2016. I have been involved in several community projects, bringing the spiritual teachings to marginalised communities.
